In 2018, Lori joined Choice Hotels. After receiving her B.S. degree in Education, she was given the opportunity to design her first learning program. It is where her lifelong passion of Learning and Development first began. She realized that by providing the appropriate tools and resources, learning could help individuals to be successful.
When she heard about her role, she soon came to realize that she would have the opportunity to partner with individuals across the organization and help them be successful. It is not uncommon to find her with a handful of sticky notes and a white board planning out the best possible learning approach, timing, and solution.
Fun Facts
She lives in Damascus with her husband (Tommy) and her son (Colin). Lori enjoys spending time with family and Tommy and Colin always joke about their house being the Lewis Bed and Breakfast.
It is not uncommon to find Lori spending time outdoors kayaking, fishing, and gardening.
Lori enjoys doing home improvement projects (her husband not so much) and you can always find her trying to figure out how to tear down a wall, make a unique wall feature or how to turn an architectural find into something incredible.
She is an avid reader and you can always find a book stashed in her bag, in the car or on her desk.
When Lori is not spending time outdoors or spending time with family you can find her travelling and learning about other cultures and customs.
